On a hot Saturday from 10am till 2PM Ed Perry's Cookout and John Ioannidis & Kathy Ioannidis of Wauchula Family Restaurant planed and sponsored this event along with friends and neighbors from all over Hardee county who came to volunteer their time and energy to serve BBQ meals to those how bought tickets and for those who passed by the parking lot across the street from Wauchula State Bank. This was no BBQ contest but a fundraiser for Denise Miller who was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago and she has gone through Chemotherapy and she is fighting this disease with all she's got with the help of friends and neighbors.
If you want to help and want to donate money you can at Wauchula State Bank there is an account set up for Denise It's called the Denise Miller fund and you can also donate a Royal's Furniture in downtown Wauchula. She really needs your help.
