Pioneer Park Days had its beginning when two hobbyists met at this location to display their antique gas engines to a group of 50 local residents. How we have grown!! Earl Nickerson and Tony Ullrich were true visionaries and they helped to make Pioneer Park Days the historic event it is today.
Visit the 489 Flea Market Spaces.....sample the tasty dishes prepared by our local clubs, organizations and churches.....from breakfast to dinner or maybe just snack along the way!
Gasoline engines.....antique tractors..... Pony rides.....Entertainment.....
Set on the stage of the Nickerson-Ullrich Building, guests will be entertained with the electrifying performances of some of the very best names in Bluegrass music today as well as many of the talented musicians in our community.
Ride the People Mover..... and visit Cracker Trail Museum & the Pioneer Settlement. You will want to take a tour through the historic 1879 Hart Cabin led by William Henry Hart's great grandson. Watch Mike McIntire as he warms the irons & wields the hammer at the 1897 C.A. Bryant Blacksmith Shop..... & don't forget to mail a postcard at the Post Office. Of course.....the ever popular car show is a must.
Cracker Trail Museum has collected over 3500 precious memories of Hardee County & are displayed for your pleasure & remembrance.....Demonstrations of Spinning, Quilting, Pioneer bread making, Toy Making, others can be enjoyed.....Civil War Cannon Demonstrations.....Reenactments.....Living History Displays, Antebellum Fashion Show, Mechanized Calvary & much more!!!!
