Friday Night Live Presents Grillin' & Chillin' on Main
Raise funds for your favorite charity and enter a cook team or show off your baking skills in the dessert cook-off or the chilli-cook-off or earn some extra cash as an art & craft vendor!
It was a beautyful weekend to have such an event on Main Street downtown Wauchula.
It all started friday with lots of food, fun and music.
Cooking teams started early afternoon getting their grills hot and grillin some of Hardee county's best chicken, pulled pork, ribs and did I mention strawberry short cakes yum yum!
It was the Gumbo Boogie Band playing music entertaining lots of people who was having fun, whether it was eating, singing to the music, and entering raffles of all kinds or to going to the petting corner compliment of Pioneer village or taking their children to the number of bounce houses. There was Ice cream and lots of arts and crafts to buy.
Friday night was also the desert and chili completion which was open to the general public who entered, and the results are in.
