Downtown Main Street Wauchula
It's the Welcome Home Hardee High Alumni 50's & 60's Reunion in downtown Main Street Wauchula. Socialhardee.com made the scene where their was some 400 plus Hardee High graduate attendees as they gathered together in downtown Wauchula Heritage Park. There was a big screen TV playing photos of fellow students from the 50's and 60's it was a time to reminisce on time passed and to catchup on what's going on now. Last night It rained off and on throughout the evening but tonight it was clear and nice out. It started a little like last night but as the day went on the weather got better.
Saturday they begin with breakfast hosted by Northside Baptist Church as a fund raiser. Pancakes will be served from 7:30am to 10am at the Town Center parking lot. Then from 10 to 4 downtown Main Street there will be vendors and displays. There will fresh orchards from Miami, plants, jewelry candies for the kids, purses, and other crafts. The block party will being at 4pm. Also Keith Hope will perform at the Java Cafe until 5:15pm. On stage at Heritage park will be Tim Davis, Debbie Carlton, Donna Alexy, David Spencer, Danny Keene, Mary Beth Bryant, Cass White, James Walker and Layne Prescott. And at 8pm it's Elvis! Carl Bryant will rock-n-roll the alumni till 11pm. Wow you guys sure know how to party.
