“Simply Sinatra” is a walk down memory lane celebrating the music of Old Blue Eyes. Sinatra’s musical director Vincent Falcone thought he had stumbled on an old Sinatra recording the first time he heard Steve Lippia’s demo tape. It also fooled Lee Solters, Sinatra’s publicist for 26 years. He has headlined sold-out shows from Las Vegas to Atlantic City, accompanied by a 10-piece band.

What to do on a Saturday morning, what else but get on a nice horse and go for a ride. And that's what Jessica Newman and about 28 other riders did this Saturday weekend. It's the 2nd Annual "Hoofin' It Off Main" fundraiser to benefit Main Street Wauchula for all the events they put on through out the year like Friday Night Live etc. This event is where riders of all ages come out to ride together some of the nicest trials in Hardee County. The trial is located on the property of CF Industries just north of the their plant off of State Rd 62 and about 1/2 mile south of the Polk / Hardee line. The trail ride goes through some really nice areas on the property. It was a site for mining phosphate back in the late 70's and early 80's now the land has been reclaimed and with lakes and wooded areas it makes for some good site seeing on horseback.
