At the ripe age of 9, pianist Ethan Bortnick has done what many musicians work toward throughout their entire careers. He has appeared on the Oprah show, the Tonight Show with Jay Leno four times, and has opened in concert for Elton John, Josh Groban, Reba McEntire, and more. He will bring some of music’s biggest hits and classics to life, along with some of his own compositions while sharing the inspirational stories behind each piece.

Being a teenager on an avenue in the Bronx back in the 1950s and early 1960s was unlike any other experience. With the liberating sound of doo-wop and rock and roll, the music had heart, soul, purity, and a sound that made you want to dance, harmonies that made you feel good, and lyrics that once in a while, even made you cry. Fans of Jersey Boys will love this show.him into a must-see sensation.

The City of Wauchula will be hosting a guided tour of Peace River Park. The tour is open to the public and will be free of charge. Sturdy walking shoes, sunscreen and water are recommended. The tour will start at 9 a.m.

It was a chili morning while clouds hid the sun, guests found much to learn and enjoy at the Hardee County Health Department's "New Year New You Wellness Fair" an informative event were guests where able to visit booths from child care, safety tips during a hurricane and free flu shots. The event was indoors and outdoors as organizations provided helpful tips for the new year. There was helmets for those who ride bikes, live Zumba class demo, Boxing champion Daniel "El Alacran" Lozano! demo, and lots of door prizes from local businesses. Some of the participating organizations were the American Cancer Society "Relay For Life" , SWAT, Hardee County YMCA, AFLAC Insurance, WIC, Pet Vet, Wauchula Police Department, Hardee County Sheriff and many more from the Health Dept. Organizers where pretty much pleased

with the event and they are looking forward in doing this event next year. Special thanks to Tami and the health department staff who did a great job!
