BBQ Dinner Fundraiser for Chloe
First Christian Church Wauchula
Sara, Chloe & Justin with pink shirts on
We have been told that little Chloe has a rare and possibly terminal disease called Pelizaeus-Merzbacher Disease (PMD). This is a very rare genetic brain disease. We are raising money for Chloe Goss's treatment. Please help us as we seek treatment for this rare disease!
That's what was on flyers which were posted on just about all the businesses in Hardee County. It’s gone on to say that the treatment will cost $26,300. We will have to travel to China to receive the treatments as this is currently the
only place performing the treatments for this disease. This total does not include airfare, travel expenses, and follow-up care when she returns from treatment.
We are having a BBQ Dinner fundraiser on January 27th and food can be picked up from 5-7pm in front of First Christian Church Wauchula.
Tickets sold for $12.00. All of the food and supplies for the BBQ have been donated so 100% of the tickets sold go for the treatment for sweet Chloe Goss.
Hardee County residents came out in large numbers in support of little Chloe. This speaks volumes of our community in how we can come together for the common good of others. I heard some 1200 dinners were sold.
Also 6 local church communities came out the day of to volunteer their time for such a great cause. Special thanks go to Jame and Earl Gaskins, JP’s Smokehouse BBQ on Main Street, Mosaic.
If you did make the fundraiser you can still help Chloe by donating money to MIDFLORIDA Credit Union. It's (Chloe Goss Trust)
A trust has been created to protect the funds that are contributed to Chloe’s medical expenses. Please make you contribution to the Chloe Goss Trust. Donations can be made at MIDFLORIDA Credit Union, where her trust account has been set up. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated!
