Hardee County Cattlemen's Association
4th Annual Ranch Rodeo

Friday & Saturday night was Ranch Rodeo at the Hardee County Cattlemen’s Arena. Folks came from all around Hardee County to see the Ranch Rodeo competition and it was a show and that was quite energetic as teams of ranch rodeo contestants who came out doing their thing at the Hardee County Cattlemen’s Arena. This is the Hardee County Cattlemen’s Association’s 4th Annual Ranch Rodeo and its gets bigger and bigger each year. Each team pays a $500.00 dollar entry fee to take part in the Ranch Rodeo competition. The Ranch Rodeo competition
includes events such as Double Mugging, Team Sorting, Team Roping, and Bronco Riding. Each team are timed in each category, the team with the best time wins that category. It looks very dangerous at times especially when those cowboys strap on to the back of those bronco horses, as the gate is snatched open the horse and rider come out jumping and kicking wildly it as site to see. The crowds were entertained and at time on their feet as they watched these cowboys and cowgirls wrestle cattle to the ground and tie them up all quickly in a race to beat the clock for the best time. At the Ranch Rodeo was a guest appearance of the 2012 Hardee County Cattlemen’s Association Sweetheart Taylor Bolin who talked with some of the folks at the arena.
