Peace River Cooperative
Annual Charity Golf
to benefit
&
Peace River Cooperative, Inc. held their Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Torrey Oaks Golf Course in Bowling Green, Florida this Saturday. The Charity Golf Tournament was to benefit UCP of Sarasota /Bradenton and Lydia’s House Wauchula.
There were 11 foursome teams at this tournament; golfers from as far as Tampa came in support of the tournament. Everyone out on the course was having such a good time out there.
Actually players of the tournament were supposed to have played last month but because of rain it was cancelled. But today’s tournament began with a nice, cool morning great for a round of golf and by they got to the last 4 holes it wormed up a little right before the luncheon and awards ceremonies were to begin.
At the awards ceremony awards of 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place were awarded and raffles of some great prizes ranging from a 32” HDTV to Gift Cards of all sorts to a Yeti cooler. Berry Terrell of PRECO said the tournament was a great success as they rose around $14,000.00 dollars for the said charities.
