Paynes Creek Historic State Park hosted the Haunting of Ft. Chokonikla this was not your ordinary haunted park. SocialHardee made the scene and this was the place to be.
A State Park that’s haunted what a great idea Christy Lanier and her staff put this event together and it was a great success did I mention the traffic to get in this place. It was back up for a half mile.
Anyway once you got in there were all kinds of games for the kids to play, one area had a table where the each kid could get a scary tattoo there was a haunted museum, and a haunted trail.
The Haunting of Ft. Chokonikla
There was food hotdogs, hamburgers and drinks and they were good. Needless to say there were some very scary people out there all dressed up in there Halloween costumes. Parents came with kids in tow there lots of kids in their Halloween costume getting all the free candy they can get their hands on and that goes to the parents too.
They even had a Haunted ghouls bus there was a hayride tour of the park which was scary too all kinds of creatures came out at you and the fact they had no lights in park except the moon it made for a very scary and exciting night. And did I mention that it was packed organizers didn't expect such a large crowed park parking areas was over packed they had to have people park at and get bused in all in all it was a great event and speaking to organizers next year there will be lighting and a lot more.
