The Hardee County Health Department hosted there 3rd Annual Forum for Women Increasing Women Health Awareness “Isn’t she Lovely” event. The 3rd Annual Event was held at the Health Department Conference & Training room at 115 K D Revell Road Wauchula, FL Saturday morning October 13, 2012. Things got started at 8 am and ended at 12 noon.

As we all know October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month and what a great time to have an event this to focus on the needs of women health today. This event is design to educate and inform women all ages to get themselves check out by a health physician on a regular basis.

Those women who brought their children were able to get information without interruption that's because their was a kid's room for the little ones. In this room were staff members to watch the children and play educational games with them. The little ones had some refreshments as well and a good time.

For those who attended got informational pamphlets, blood pressure screening, Dental information, and much more health related information at the different tables. There were refreshments and great prizes that was raffled off. These gifts were donated by Mosaic, Cat’s On Main, AG Outdoor World, Bealls Outlet, just to mention a few.
