Square One Sporting Clay Club entrance to shooting range which had 14 stations for today's shoot
Volunteers of NU-HOPE getting folks registered for the Inaugural Fun Shoot.

It was a cool breezy morning at the Square One Sporting Clay Club in Lake Placid, Florida; shooters got registered, purchased raffle tickets for some great prizes and got in their golf carts to head out to their shooting stations. Shooters at this inaugural Fun Shoot competition had a little wind to deal with. This meant that they had to make adjustments to make their shot.
Sponsored by Mosaic Fertilizer the Inaugural Fun Shoot was on its way with 14 shooting stations, teams got to their stations and off goes the shot guns, you had to have ear plugs because it was so loud out there, I got a pair from Jason of the Mosaic team. Shooters had 3 chances to hit their targets which were little round orange clay disks. Shooters would say pull and out came disks three and four at a time which meant for a quick action move as shell casings were spitting out of those shot guns. Some made it seem easy while others had a little time with it.
But at the end everyone had a fun time and that’s what it’s all about. After the shooting was over there was a luncheon outdoors, they had ice cold shrimp appetizers, grilled steak, swamp cabbage, green beans and deserts and it was goooood! Once lunch was over it was time for the calling of raffle ticket numbers there was some great prizes, awards for best shooting and sponsor recognition awards. Mosaic Title sponsor was awarded a Special Recognition Award.
