The 2012 Hardee County Fair 
71 Years of Fun, Family & Tradition
The 2012 Hardee County Fair was exciting I don't know where to being I'll guess I will start from the beginning It's was Saturday at 2:00 pm when the gates opened at the 71st Annual Hardee County Fair that's a lot of cotton candy over the years anyway It was a great day to go to the fair with all the rides, exhibits and live entertainment where to begin maybe some food at Cowbell's or the 4-H Club sponsored by Mosaic or any of the vendors outside. 
At 7pm the first pageant of many to come started with the Miss Hardee County Pageant which was won by Taylor Bolin and then the rides. 

Sunday: 1pm gates opened the Midway opened and the Kindergarten Princess Pageant started at 2:00pm and at 4pm the Entertainment Tent stared with some great performers. 

Monday: was a holiday and kids day too so gates opened at 1pm and then was the Rabbit Show at the Cattlemen's Arena followed by some live entertainment at the Entertainment Tent, of course all of the exhibits and vendors inside. then 6:30pm the Dairy Show and at 7pm the Junior Miss Pageant started and Cheyenne Pohl was crowned 2012 Junior Miss and more rides.  

Tuesday: was Merchants Day gates opened at 5pm so did the Midway their was a Pirates acrobat show that was awesome 5pm also was the Poultry Showmanship the at 6pm the Entertainment Tent Opened from 6-8pm and at 6:30pm was the Swine Show and more rides. 

Wednesday: Dollar Day! 5pm gates and Midway opened Rides, Admission and Parking was $1 at 6pm the Breeding and Heifer Show began and 6-8pm the Entertainment Tent opened, at 7pm the Steer Show started and after that the Beef Showmanship began and more rides. 

Thursday: 5pm gates and Midway opened 5:30pm Livestock Buyers Dinner at Civic Center, 6-8pm Entertainment Tent opened with some great bands and singers performing, then at 7pm the FFA & 4-H Livestock Sale and it was one that had lots of excitement and smiles on kids faces and at the end was a biding war for a pig which sold for $24 lb. winning bidder was TNT Reclamation it was an awesome night on to be remembered for a long time. 

Friday: 5pm gates and Midway opened from 5-8 Live entertainment at the Entertainment Tent, at 7pm was a big draw it was Ranch Rodeo - Bronc Riding, Team Sorting, Barrel Racing, Double Mugging, Calf Doctoring, Mutton Busting (6 & under)  that was very entertaining especially the little ones, and 7:30pm temperature started to drop but that was going to stop the Lil' Miss Pageant which Aubrey Stark was crowned 2012 Lil' Miss Hardee and yes more rides. 

Saturday the last day it was kinda cool and breezy but folks came out in big numbers gates, Midway and the Entertainment Tent opened at 12 noon then at 4pm the Prince & Princess Pageant started they were all cute and this year Brinson Martin Conerly & Tori Ann Durden was crowned 2012 2nd Grade Prince & Princess congratulations to all winners in each pageant and participants. Then at 4pm was the Mexican Band and at 7pm the Mexican Bull Riding and more rides.
