Friday Night Live on Main Street in Downtown Wauchula was a little different than FNL of past, there was a 5K run at the beginning of FNL with registration on Main Street in front of the court house. The race would be starting on Orange Street on the backside of the court house. Runners where lined up facing west on Orange Street, instruction was given to runners on safety and route they were to
take there was over one hundred runners participating in this 5K run. It’s all for a good cause. The send me mission 5k run is a non-profit organization. The sendMeMission (SMM) serves to reach the world for Christ beginning in our backyard (Hardee County) and reaching to the ends of the world. SMM is not designed for one denomination or for one church but for the entire Body of Christ, to proved opportunities to plug in and serve. Our desire is to see Believers come together and serve as ONE body of Believers. This event is to raise money for the mission trip to the Dominican Republic. This month’s FNL Theme was Fiesta Friday lots of Mexican food and cultural displays was on hand at this FNL also there was lots of vendors on hand with crafts, educational materials, food, drawings, and merchandise.
It was a festive night out with lots of Hardee residents and visitors from other counties on hand for this great FNL event. There was the drawing of the Red Ford extended cab truck some lucky winner got the truck Aarons was raffling off a new 60” TV, the local businesses were busy Sears, all the restaurants it was one to remember.
