Country music powerhouse Travis Tritt has had seven platinum albums and five number one hits. Performing alone with only a guitar and vocals, the show will emphasize Tritt's soulful vocals, influenced by blues and Southern rock. The two-time Grammy winner has charted more than 30 singles on the U.S. Billboard charts, including five number ones.

The City of Wauchula will be hosting a guided tour of Peace River Park. The tour is open to the public and will be free of charge. Sturdy walking shoes, sunscreen and water are recommended. The tour will start at 9 a.m.

His presentation takes the audience on a journey through the state, featuring songs that cover a wealth of history, characters, and folklore. A PowerPoint slideshow titled “A Musical Journey Through Florida” supports the program.

Socailhardee.com Who to see. Where to be. was on the scene at the first Friday Night Live Event of 2012 titled "Vegas Night" sponsored by Alan Jay Automotive Network. It was a nice afternoon to kick off the series of FNL for 2012 their was lots of vendors Wauchula PD had hotdog's, drinks and Ice Cream, crafts, Democrat of Hardee, HART with there dog's they had around 4 dogs and all four where adopted tonight and Cass White adopted a really nice dog (see photo gallery). Of course there was Alan Jay Automotive with their line

of vehicles from the new Ford F-150 to the Hot New Chevrolet Camero SS V8. Entertainment was by Porchdogs which played some really good music. There was the bounce houses for the kids, all the shops and restaurants where open for this event, the bloodmobile was on hand and even Mr. & Mrs. Abraham Lincoln showed up (by the way they are performing tomorrow afternoon at the Old City Hall. Lots of people attended this kickoff FNL many played at the many table of Black Jack, Craps Table, Roulette Wheel, and Texas Hold em' Tables. Players bought FNL money for chips and chips where turned in for tickets for many prizes and Grand prize of Weekend at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa. (see photo gallery for winner)
