The 2nd Annual Ken Weis "Strick Out Cancer"
Bowl-A-Thon was a great success, held at the Bowl of Fun Lanes in Wauchula organizers expected to raise money for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Hardee County. This same venue is where the poker tournaments was started some years back when Ken was alive. We lost ken in February of last year to cancer he was the biggest supporter and fundraiser of the American Cancer Society in Hardee County and he raised tens of thousand of dollars for the fight against cancer. This weekend Bowl-A-Thon
was a great way to educate, bowl , have fun and raise money for the cure. Their were door prizes, raffle, 1st , 2nd, and 3rd place prizes. At the same time their was the monthly poker tournament in the lounge area which is the held every third saturday of the month.
