The Community Yard Sale is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Hardee County, teams from Relay For Life brought their stuff and things people donated and whatever they sold goes to their teams total for the 2013 Relay For Life. Organizers said that they did really good and plan on doing another one in March of 2013. Relay For Life is an Organized, overnight community fundraising walk with teams of people camped out around a track. Members of each team take turns walking around the track as food, games and activity provide entertainment and build camaraderie for those who participate and it is a family-friendly environment for the entire community. So teams compete by raising money for recognition and pride as they raise money for people who have been stricken with the disease here in Hardee County.
Relay For Life will be held on April 26 thru 27, 2013 at the Hardee County Wildcat Stadium the event starts at 6:00 pm with the opening ceremony and followed by the survivor lap. There will all types of fundraiser for the American Cancer Society of Hardee through out this year and next year these fundraisers could be yard sales, car washes, dinners, raffles, baked goods sales, and for businesses the Stars & Moon donation. So if you see these events please help and donate.

The American Cancer Society of Hardee held their 2nd Annual Community Yard Sale this past Saturday at Heritage Park on Main Street downtown Wauchula.
