Proceeds to benefit Hardee County Charity

Socialhardee.com made the scene once again as players were looking at their hands with their poker paces on, while Mr. Gonzales calls for time last hand. You see all these deals are timed 15 minute blinds as they call it. Some 40 plus people showed up at this monthly event at the Bowl of Fun Lanes on Hwy 17 South next to the Taco Bell in Wauchula. This poker tournament was started by the late Ken Weis and Bobby Brewer some years ago and it is growing every tournament. Ken Weis as you may know was a cancer fighter, we lost him this year to this ugly disease but his legacy lives on, a portion of the proceeds go's to benefit Hardee County Charity. If you like to play Texas Hold'em Poker or want to try your luck then come to the next poker tournament which will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 same place same time (6:30pm til last hand).
