“Simply Sinatra” is a walk down memory lane celebrating the music of Old Blue Eyes. Sinatra’s musical director Vincent Falcone thought he had stumbled on an old Sinatra recording the first time he heard Steve Lippia’s demo tape. It also fooled Lee Solters, Sinatra’s publicist for 26 years. He has headlined sold-out shows from Las Vegas to Atlantic City, accompanied by a 10-piece band.

Socialhardee.com made the scene as players were looking at their hands with their poker paces on, while Mr. Gonzales calls for time last hand. You see all these deals are timed 15 minute blinds as they call it. Some 30 plus people showed up at this monthly event at the Bowl of Fun Lanes on Hwy 17 South next to the Taco Bell in Wauchula. This poker tournament was started by the late Ken Weis and by Bobby Brewer some years ago and it is going strong today. Ken Weis as you may know was a cancer fighter, we lost him this year to this ugly disease but his legacy lives on, a portion of the proceeds go's to the American Cancer Society Hardee Division where Ken Weis was very active and passionate about raising money and awareness to this disease. If you like to play Texas Hold'em Poker or want to try your luck then come to the next poker tournament which will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 same place same time (5:30pm til last hand).
