Hardee County fire fighters were out on the street with their boots in hand for a good cause. It was the 16th Annual Hardee County Fire Fighters for fight Muscular Dystrophy, also known as MDA Boot Drive which raises money to benefit Jerry’s Kids. They where out Friday morning til noon on Main Street East and West sides and on US 17 North and South bound directions. They where out raising money the whole weekend which included Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
There was even a student of South Florida Community College who road with the fire department to volunteered her time for this great cause.
Fire Fighters in Zolfo Springs, where out Saturday on US 17 North and South bound lanes and on S.R. 64 on East and West side collecting for this great cause.
