Steve Lippia “Simply Sinatra”
November 29, 2011
7:30 pm
SFCC Theatre for the Performing Arts
“Simply Sinatra” is a walk down memory lane celebrating the music of Old Blue Eyes. Sinatra’s musical director Vincent Falcone thought he had stumbled on an old Sinatra recording the first time he heard Steve Lippia’s demo tape. It also fooled Lee Solters, Sinatra’s publicist for 26 years. He has headlined sold-out shows from Las Vegas to Atlantic City, accompanied by a 10-piece band.

October 9th - October 15th

Socialhardee.com is on the scene of what looks like a horiffic car accident but no one was injured, that's because it was Hardee County Fire Rescue demonstrating how they handle an auto accident.
It was all part of the "Open House" event for parents and childern who come out to see how our first responders perform in different situations that they comfront on a daily bases.
At the event was the trama helicopter from Tampa General Hospital, they explained how they operate the helicopter and what life saving equiptment they have on board that helps save lives.
On hand at this event was Wauchula Police Chief Beatie with officers, police cars, and their K-9 Unit. The dog's name is EMIR and his handler Officer Leconte gave demonstrations on how EMIR attacks and takes down a suspect. Florida State Fire Marshall was on hand as they demonstrated their bomb detection dog, as well as their remote control robot used in defusing explosives.
Hardee County Sheriff's K-9 Unit a tracking dog and the Hardee Sheriff's Mobile Comand unit was on hand as they gave tours of inside the mobile comand unit, Hardee County Emergncy Management was their with information booth. Their was hotdogs, drinks for everyone, the kids even got a firefighter hat and they got the chance to go inside the fire trucks and rescue vehicles.
I think parents and childern alike learned alot at this event. What a great event put on by the Hardee County Fire Rescue and local and state law enforcement angencies for the "Fire Prevention Week."
Special thanks to Hardee County Fire Chief Choat and his team of fire fighters and paramedics for putting on this great event for our residents.
